Don't miss this acclaimed Welsh-language production of Willy Russell's Olivier Award-winning play, Educating Rita (Addysgu Rita), performed at Theatr Soar in the heart of Merthyr Tydfil. The play tells the story of Rita, a working-class hairdresser who enrols in an Open University course and challenges her tutor, Frank, in unexpected ways. A funny, moving and ultimately life-affirming story about education, class, and self-discovery — hugely relevant to the communities of South Wales. Performed over two nights (15–16 May, 7:30pm).
